Welcome to feminist/ ‘gender studies’ science:

1. Take the ‘fact’ you need to prove (x thing causes negative body image; rape culture is endemic etc.)

2. Construct a scientific or statistical study that is guaranteed to support the ‘hypothesis’ you already believe – make sure anything pesky that could affect the results is ignored, words redefined for the purpose of the survey, etc.

3. Tell the world via the mainstream media how evil men/patriarchy/gender norms are, as shown by your study.
