CRANMER: Church in Wales approves women bishops. “The Church in Wales has just voted in favour of the consecration of women as bishops. What I found interesting about this was the remark earlier this week by the Archbishop of Wales saying, ‘The consecration of women bishops is obviously theologically right.’ Interesting because if it is so obvious why didn’t it occur to the church for the first two thousand years of its history?”
